Students in the animal business, management, and industry concentration will be exposed to the business-related aspects of livestock production and related industries. Students will study the principles of economics, finance, risk and decision-making process, as well as the scientific disciplines associated with animal production.

Total of ACES prescribed and elective courses must equal at least 40 hours.
Minimum of 15 hours of major and concentration courses must be completed on the UIUC campus.
Students must be enrolled in the College of ACES/UIUC for at least two semesters.

  2. Work with your academic advisor. For completing GenEd requirements, consult with your academic advisor and refer to the most current GenEd approved list available at www.courses.uiuc.edu/gened.
  3. Course work at or above the third level is required for graduation.

  5. Cannot be an Economics course.
  6. MCB 150 and 151 or IB 150 and 151 may be substituted for IB 104.
